Women's Woodwork Workshops
ABOUT THE COURSES
These are 1-day woodwork workshops for women run from my home in West Wales.
The courses are designed to be for complete beginners, absolutely no knowledge of woodwork is assumed.
Some people come having done a little when they were at school, some come having taught themselves a little around the house and garden, some come having never picked up a saw or a drill before in their lives.
All are welcome!

THE EXTRA DETAILS
Timber & Tools
All the timber and tools that you will need on the day to make your project will be provided. There will be safety equipment available for you when needed and you will have a pair of gloves and a pencil to take home with you as a souvenir!
Days & Dates
Days and dates will vary each month. If you sign up to my "Dates for your Diary" email list you will receive a monthly reminder of the dates available and the new dates as they are released.
Food & Drink
You will need to bring your own lunch. There is a mini-kitchen available for your use, with a fridge, kettle, microwave and some crockery and cutlery. I will provide cows milk, tea and coffee and some sweet snacks! Please feel free to bring your own coffee or tea if you wish.
Timings
All the workshops run from 10am until about 4 or 5pm. The finish time will depend on how many are in the group and how much chatting we do over lunch amongst other things!
STAY THE NIGHT WITH US
After a day in the workshop, you can come back to the cottage, wash off the sawdust, light the fire, and sink into a calm, cosy evening of good food, deep rest, and quiet satisfaction.
